This is the really important bit.

It’s all very well us gallivanting around the sea and having an adventure, but the real reason for the trip is to raise some serious dosh for the Lifeboats. So this is where you put your hand in your pocket. I’ve asked that all the money we raise will be used to equip the lifeboat crews. To give you an idea of what your donation can buy, have a look at the following…

And that’s just the cost of a few bits of equipment. A Tamar class lifeboat costs £2.5 million!! In 2005 the RNLI needed a budget of £119 million, that’s £330,000 a day. So please dig deep and make a donation now.
